We partner with two churches in Brazil to plant a church in the North East of Brazil in Sobral. Sobral is a major city in the deprived North east of Brazil where there is great material and spiritual need. We have sent a church worker and his family (Batista and Katia and their two daughters) to Sobral where they have been since December 2004. A small church has been established through their work.

Our partners are:

Harvest Ministries Church in Ceilandia ( a suburb of Brasilia) have a vision to grow and multiply their cell groups in Ceilandia through high energy evangelistic activity. They want to see one cell in each neighborhood of their sector of the city. Members of each cell group invite their friends who through conversation and bible teaching become Christians and are nurtured. New Christians receive training so that in nine months they can start their own cell group!

Assemblies of God Church in Maranguape (North East Brazil) are a large church of over 1400 people in different congregations that meet in different parts of their town. The church sees many people become Christians each year and they have programmes of deliverance and family restoration that have transformed the lives of many. They also have a mission vision with aims to send missionaries to Africa and Europe.
